As a high representative of the Government of Malaysia and guided by the Core Values of Loyalty, Integrity, Dedication, Professionalism and Innovation, the Embassy of Malaysia in the Republic of Turkey is entrusted to promote to the highest level of political, economic and social relations with the Republic of Turkey; and is thus committed to, inter alia:

• Promote and facilitate trade investment exchanges between Malaysia and Turkey
• Disseminate adequate and accurate information on Malaysia and the Malaysian's government policies;
• Enhance and protect the interests of Malaysia and Malaysian nationals in Turkey;
• Promote and to provide efficient protocol, immigration and consular facilities towards an increased exchange of visits and businesses between Malaysia and Turkey; and
• Act as a focal point in the interaction and communication between the government and the Malaysian community in Turkey.

The Embassy provides these consular services:

• Registration of Malaysians;
• Passport renewal;
• Birth/marriage certificate registration;
• Travel advice;
• Issuance of visas.

In the event of loss of personal documents and belongings, Malaysians are advised to report it at the nearest police station. This will facilitate any insurance claim and replacement of relevant documents. A copy of the police report should be attached when applying for emergency travel documents.

Every person entering Malaysia must possess a valid Passport or internationally recognized Travel Document valid. The document shall be valid, for more than six (6) months from the date of entry into Malaysia.

Visa Application Requirements:

• Two copies of visa forms to be filled and signed;
• A valid travelling document with at least 6 month validity;
• No Objection Letter from Company/Sponsors (for individuals/family members);
• A Copy of Labor Contract or Salary Certificate (AED 4000) of applicants/sponsors for spouse/children of sponsors;
• Two passport size photographs;
• Confirmed hotel booking;
• Confirmed return ticket;
• For Business visa, an invitation letter is required. For multiple entry business visa, an interview would be conducted;
• Photocopy of passport; and
• This constitutes minimum requirements - additional documents may be asked.

Under normal circumstances, it will take one or two working days to process the application. Turkish citizens may apply for Visa on Arrival.

• Bangunan Sultan Iskandar, Bukit Chagar, Johor Bahru, Johor

Duration of Stay: 14 days.

The Embassy is closed on weekends and public holidays. For public holidays that fall on Sunday, the following working day (Monday) shall be observed as holiday.
