The Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Caribbean consists of the countries Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten, and the three Dutch public bodies Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba (sometimes referred to as the BES islands).

The Netherlands Embassy represents Latvia and Poland concerning visa applications.

Consular services provided by the Embassy:

  • Adoption matters;
  • Help for asylum seekers and refugees;
  • Civil status matters;
  • Dutch nationality matters;
  • Issuance of Dutch passports, ID cards;
  • Legalization of documents;
  • Notarial acts;
  • Registration of Dutch citizens staying abroad;
  • Issuance of visas;
  • Assistance to Dutch citizens in cases of emergency.

When Philippine citizen's passport gets stolen or lost when he/she is abroad, he/she should contact the local police as soon as possible and file a statement. Subsequently, he/she should contact the Embassy or Consulate in order to apply for a new travel document and to sign a statement that his/her passport is missing.

Filipino nationals who are ordinary passport holders are required to apply for a Visa to enter the Schengen area. Filipino Official or Diplomatic passport holders do need a visa to travel to The Netherlands.

Tourist visa requirements:

  1. Duly filled out and singed Schengen visa application form (original and photocopy);
  2. 1 recently taken passport-sized photo;
  3. Current passport with at least 2 blank pages and valid for at least 3 months upon return;
  4. Previous passports;
  5. Proof of travel;
  6. Proof of travel medical insurance coverage (Eur 30,000);
  7. Proof of accommodation;
  8. Reservation certificate and the ship's itinerary, if joining a cruise;
  9. Any other land or tour arrangements;
  10. Proof of financial means of the applicant;
  11. Proof of occupation;
  12. If minor travelling alone: affidavit of support & consent of parents/legal guardian, photocopy of passport of parents/legal guardian, birth certificate of the minor, proof of economic means of parents/legal guardian, DSWD clearance;
  13. If travelling with spouse and/or children: marriage contract, birth certificates of children;
  14. For spouse of EU nationals travelling with or meeting the EU citizen: proof of marriage, photocopy of the EU national's passport;
  15. For non-Filipino applicants who have valid residence status in Philippines: copy of alien certificate registration (ACR), re-entry permit;
  16. Photocopy of passport/s with old and new visa stamps from any countries.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
