• Registration of Dutch nationals abroad;
• Assistance to Dutch nationals abroad in cases of emergency.

If Dutch citizens lose their passport abroad, the nearest Dutch embassy or consulate can help them obtain a new passport or temporary travel document (emergency passport or laissez passer). Although they are not required to report the loss of their passport to the local police, it is recommended they do so, with a view to a subsequent claim to their insurance company.

South-Korean passport holders do not require either a Schengen visa or an MVV for the Netherlands. South-Korean passport holders who wish to stay in the Netherlands for more than 90 days, must apply for a temporary residence permit upon arrival in the Netherlands.

Nationals of South Korea do not require a visa for the Caribbean part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (the countries Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten and the Dutch public bodies Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba).

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
