The Embassy plays an important role in promoting political and economic/trade relations between New Zealand and the Republic of Poland.
Embassy services:

- Legal and notarial services.
Loss or theft of New Zealand passport must be reported to local police. A copy of a police report or a reference number will be needed when applying for a new passport (depending on which country applicant is in, police reference numbers may be called different things - police report event numbers, crime reference numbers, etc.).
If a person is visiting New Zealand for three months or less and is from a visa-waiver country (Poland included), this person will not need to apply for a visitor visa before arriving in New Zealand as long as the purpose of the visit is for a lawful purpose. On arrival in New Zealand, they will be asked to provide:
- travel tickets or evidence of onward travel arrangements, and
- evidence of funds for maintenance.
Residents of Poland should direct their visa applications and any enquiries to the Immigration New Zealand branch in London.
Citizens who are not from a visa-waiver country must provide:
- Passport;
- Proof that they plan to leave New Zealand;
- Proof of funds.
Also, applicants for a visitor visa must:
- be in good health;
- be of good character;
- have their visitor visa fit the purpose for coming to New Zealand;
- be a bona fide temporary visitor.
The maximum stay under a visitor visa is usually nine months in an 18-month period.
Payments for consular fees can be made in cash, credit card or bank cheque/draft.
