Security information:

• Only applicants with confirmed appointments with the Nigeria Immigration Service/ duly completed form/payment slip will be admitted into the Embassy. Considerations can be made only if the applicant is under age and accompanied by legal guidance, if the applicant is disabled and requires assistance.
• The use of mobile phones and any electronic device is strictly prohibited; please do not bring laptops, PDAs, Tablets, iPods, any electronic transmitting device, the Embassy asks you to please cooperate with their security personnel. These items will be collected upon entry to the facility and will be returned back upon departure.
• Backpacks and large bags, suitcases are not allowed within the Embassy premises.
• Your appointment will be cancelled or delayed if you refused to comply with the security procedures.

Lost, Damage or stolen Passports. Such cases are handled by Nigerian immigration. However, Nigeria Embassy Prague can refer individuals with such case to a sister Embassy to obtain a new booklet, after ascertaining the residential status of such individual in the Czech Republic. Please note that in a situation where the lost, damage or stolen Passport was obtained in Nigeria, the individual concern must first obtain permission from Comptroller General of Nigerian Immigration before another Passport could be issued outside Nigeria. Please give yourself enough time for investigation by Nigerian immigration. Similarly those who wish to change their status either through marriage or divorce should also apply through same process described in lost or damage passport.

NOTE: Nigeria Embassy Prague does not renew or issue New Passports at the moment. Please note that the new standard E-passport is not renewable, rather a new booklet is issued after necessary requirements are complied with.

Visa applications are made online at the Nigeria Immigration Service website. Once the application is completed online and the required fee paid, the applicant is required to come to the Embassy with the print-out and confirmation of payment on any of the following days.     Submission: Monday to Wednesday 9.00 – 12.00, except public holidays.    

Collection: Thursday to Friday 9.00 – 14.00, except public holidays.

Visa fees are paid online directly to the Nigeria Immigration Service. The fees payable are generated by the website, according to Visa requirements. All categories of Visa except Diplomatic Visa attract a non-refundable administrative fee of CZK 1.000, payable to Nigerian Embassy Prague Revenue Account number: 256389654/0300 at CSOB.
