The Embassy of Pakistan Vienna offers the following consular services:

  • Issuance of manual Passports to Pakistan nationals,
  • Processing the cases of National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP),
  • Issuance of Emergency Passports to Pakistan nationals being repatriated to their country,
  • Issuance of Pakistan visas
  • Cases of Renunciation of Pakistan nationality
  • Attestation of documents

The Mission charges for the different consular services as per the following fee structure (Kindly note that the Mission does not accept any cash payments and thus all payments are required to be made to the relevant official Bank accounts of the Embassy’s Consular Section)

Documents required for processing of cases of Pakistan Passports

The Embassy only issues Manual Pakistan Passports. In this regard following documents are required for further processing the cases of Pakistan passports:

  • Legible and completely filled-in Passport Application Form
  • Previous Passport in Original
  • Copy of Previous Passport (Pages 01, 02, 03)
  • Copy of Valid Austrian/Slovak visa or written assurance of issuance of visa
  • Valid CNIC/Smart NIC Cards in original
  • For Married women, the CNIC must bear the name of husband instead of father/guardian.
  • Copy of Embassy’s fee receipt for Application of NADRA’s ID Card (In case applicant does not have a NADRA’s ID Card or an expired NADRA ID Card)

In case of children born to Pakistan nationals in Pakistan and currently resident in Austria/Slovak Republic, the Production of Computerized Registration Certificate in case of children below 12 years of age is mandatory. In case of children born to Pakistan nationals in Austria/Slovak Republic, copy of fee receipt for application of NICOP would be required. The Embassy will issue a Passport of limited validity in such cases till the receipt of NICOP from Pakistan. Upon receipt of NICOP, the Passport will be extended to period of full validity of 05 years.

In case of lost passport, original and a copy of the Police report along with its English translation will be required.

The Embassy is accredited to Austria and Slovak Republic and therefore it processes the visa applications of the passport holders/nationals of these two countries. As per Pakistan-Austria Visa Agreement, the Austrian nationals holding diplomatic and official passports do not require visa to enter Pakistan and stay there up to 03 months. Normal processing time of visas is 02 weeks. Before applying for visa, it should be ensured that the validity of the Passport is of at least 06 months.
