Pakistan displays some of Asia’s most magnificent landscapes as it stretches from the Arabian Sea, its southern border, to some of the world’s most spectacular mountain ranges in the north. Pakistan is also home to sites that date back to world’s earliest settlements rivalling those of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia.

The Embassy acts as Registrar for Pakistani nationals resident in the Ireland: issues them with identity cards and passports, registers their births, deaths and marriages, enters them on the electoral rolls and organizes polling stations for major national elections, draws up notarial acts and ensures the protection of their rights with regards to the Irish authorities.

Note: No online banking transfer for consular fee will be accepted.

Please note that visa would be issued to passport holders from third country only if they are resident in Ireland to be proved by the applicant by relevant documents. Processing time for all categories of visit visa except assignment visa is 02 days. Processing of assignment visa may take 04 to 06 weeks subject to approval by quarters concerned in Pakistan.

Passport Renewal Form and Instructions:

  • Complete Passport Application Form
  • Form-A for Adults, Form-B for Children under 12
  • Old/Pervious Passport in original
  • 3 Passport size Photograph
  • National Identity Card (Computerized)/NICOP in original and its photocopy.
  • Passport photocopy of 1st, 2nd and valid visa pages.
  • Passport Renewal Fee
  • Self addressed prepaid Registered envelope (Ireland postal service only), if sending by mail. However, Embassy reserves the right to call the applicant in person to Embassy, if required. Applicant failing to produce above mentioned documents or not holding valid resident papers are advised to appear in the Embassy in person.
  • Children of EU spouse applying for Pakistan Passport need to submit/fulfill the following, in addition to the above :
  • Verification from the respective EU Mission that no Passport has been Issued to the child.
  • Presence of EU spouse (with passport) at the time of submission of passport application of the child.

NOTE: In case of loss passport, applicant is required to submit his/her passport applicant in person in Embassy. Applications received in this category by prepaid registered envelope will not be entertained.  Please note that lost passport cases are referred to Pakistan for Police and passport verification. It takes on average 8 to10 weeks to get a reply. It takes much longer to get a reply in cases where the applicant does not provide any reference of the lost passport.
