It is a function of Philippine consular officers to pass upon claims for, or resolve matters involving, Philippine citizenship and, upon determination of such citizenship, to issue the applicant with the Philippine passport. A Philippine citizen, for one reason or another, is unable to have a passport to return to the Philippines, may be issued a Travel Document valid for one direct flight to the Philippines. Applicants for passports and travel documents use the same application form.

All passports are printed by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila. Processing at the Consulate of the passport application is on a “first-come first served” basis. It usually takes between 1 to 3 hours during heavy traffic days, from start (filing of application) to finish (biometrics.) A Certificate of Enrollment stating the date your new passport will be available for release will be given to each applicant. In view of transit time to and from Manila, regular passport applications received abroad will be available for release eight (8) to ten (10) weeks from the date of application. Applicants are advised to plan trips or interviews where they will need valid passports only after receiving the new ePassport.

Non-immigrant visa:
Temporary visit of the Czech citizens to the Philippines – 21-DAY NO VISA ENTRY.
Czech tourists may enter the Philippines without a visa for maximum stay of twenty one (21) days from the day of their arrival in the Philippines until their departure provided they have a passport valid for at least six (6) months and a round trip airline ticket or onward airline ticket.
