The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Moscow is the principal representative of the Philippine Government in the conduct of its relations with the Government of the Russian Federation and the countries under the jurisdiction of the Embassy and in advancing and promoting Philippine interests.

The Embassy provides these consular services:

  • Issues passports;
  • Issues visas;
  • Authenticates documents;
  • Registers Filipino nationals abroad;
  • Assists Filipino nationals in cases of emergency.

In case Philippine passport was lost and cannot be found, applicant for a new passport must submit notarized affidavit of loss (with detailed explanation on when, where and how passport got lost), police report (if the passport is still valid), photocopy of first page of lost passport (if available).

Effective 01 August 2013, Russian nationals who are traveling to the Philippines for business and tourism purposes are allowed to enter the Philippines without visas for a stay not exceeding thirty (30) days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey to port of origin or next port of destination and their passports valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay.

Requirements for temporary visa for citizens who require a visa to visit Philippines:

  • Personal appearance at the Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy
  • Duly accomplished visa application form
  • Original passport valid for at least six (6) months prior to intended dates of travel to the Philippines, and photocopy of passport data page
  • One recent I.D. picture (4.5. cm x 3.5 cm)
  • Letter of invitation/guarantee from a Philippine national/company regarding the visit/travel to the Philippines
  • Copy of passport of inviting person (in case of personal invitation)
  • Copy of confirmed Airline/Hotel/Tour booking in the Philippines.
  • For Seamen, copy of data pages of Seaman’s Book

Payment of visa fees could be made in person or an authorized representative or through bank transfer to the Embassy’s account.
