Appointment systems have been instituted for passport renewal (including lost and mutilated passports and infant encoding), OEC applications, and NBI card fingerprinting; other services require no appointment. For services that require no appointments, such as invitation letters and consularization of documents, and for release of documents, the windows are open during lunch breaks (12 noon to 1:00 pm).

The Embassy provides these consular services:

  • Issues passports;
  • Issues visas;
  • Provides notarial services;
  • Deals with registration of birth;
  • Deals with invitation letters;
  • Deals with registration of marriage;
  • Deals with citizenship matters;
  • Deals with NBI card fingerprinting;
  • Assists Philippine nationals;
  • Deals with annotation of civil registry documents;
  • Authenticates documents.

No visa required for Singaporean citizens for a stay not exceeding thirty (30) days. Traveller must hold valid ticket for return journey to country of origin or next country of destination and a passport valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the stay in the Philippines.

For passport holders who are allowed visa-free entry for a stay of up to 30 days: a visa is required for a stay exceeding 30 days.

Children aged below 15 years travelling to the Philippines unaccompanied by a parent must comply with a Philippine requirement called a Waiver of Exclusion Ground (WEG).

Basic requirements for citizens of other countries, who require tourist visas to visit Philippines:

  • Personal appearance of the applicant
  • Duly accomplished visa application form
  • One (1) recent photograph with white or light-colored background
  • Copy of proof of residence in Singapore (Employment Pass, Work Permit, PR card, Student Pass, Dependant's Pass, or Long Term Pass)
  • Additional documentation may be required upon the discretion of the visa officer
  • Cash payment for application processing
  • Round-trip or onward airline booking or itinerary of travel to other country of destination issued by an authorized travel agency (airline tickets not required)
  • Original and Photocopy of Applicant's national passport, valid for at least six (6) months or more from date of departure from the Philippines or completion of trip
  • Proof of sufficient funds for travel expenses, accommodation and subsistence, such as bank statement (note: bank statement for the last three months, including the present month when the visa application is filed), bank book, certificate of deposits and investments, etc. or notarized letter of guarantee from applicant's host or sponsor in the Philippines

Visitors are advised to come appropriately attired to the Embassy. We strongly discourage applicants from coming to the Embassy dressed in sandos or slippers. Shorts are discouraged, and short shorts are not allowed. Those in the following attire will be refused entry outright: exposed underwear; shirts/blouses that intentionally show the navel; pants/shorts with very low waistlines that reveal portions of private parts; and transparent shirts and pants that show undergarments.

The Embassy is closed on Philippine and Singaporean public holidays.
