Consular services provided by the Embassy:
- Issues travel documents;
- Deals with Serbian citizenship matters;
- Issues civil status certificates (marriage, birth, paternity, adoption, divorce);
- Legalizes documents;
- Assists in transfering human remains to Serbia;
- Issues visas.
In case Serbian passport was lost on a trip abroad, it should be immediately reported to local police authorities and a police receipt should be issued. This receipt should be brought to the nearest diplomatic or consular mission of the Republic of Serbia which will then issue a travel document to return to Serbia.
For Netherlands citizens no visas are required for visits up to 90 days. Citizens of other countries may need visas to enter Serbia. General visa requirements:
- Valid passport (valid for at least 90 days from issue date of visa);
- Letter of invitation (tourist trip - a proof of payment for the trip issued by a travel agency (voucher or other type of payment receipt);
- Filled visa application;
- Photo (3,5 x 4,5 cm);
- Return ticket or itinerary
- Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia;
- Health insurance;
- Visa fee.
The Embassy is closed on public holidays. If one of the non-religious holidays falls on a Sunday, then the next working day is a non-working day.
