In case Serbian passport has been lost on a trip to Poland, police authorities of Poland should be immediately contacted and asked to issue a receipt to that effect. The receipt should then be submitted to the nearest diplomatic or consular mission of the Republic of Serbia which will issue a travel document for the return to Serbia, once the procedure to establish applicant's identity and citizenship has been duly completed.

General tourist visa requirements for citizens of countries that require visas to Serbia:

  • Valid passport;
  • Proof of payment for the trip issued by a travel agency;
  • Completed visa application form;
  • Photo;
  • Return ticket or itinerary;
  • Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia;
  • Health insurance;
  • Visa fee.

Foreign nationals, holders of all types of travel documents other than emergency travel documents and travel documents issued in accordance with international conventions, starting from 08 November 2014. can enter, transit and stay without visa in the Republic of Serbia, if they have valid Schengen visa, the UK visa and visa from other EU countries, visa of the United States or have residence permit in the Schengen zone, country members of the European Union or the United States, up to 90 days within 6 months period, or until the expiration of the visa, or residence permit in the above mentioned states.

Holders of ordinary passports of Poland do not require visas for visits to Serbia of up to 90 days. ID cards can also be used to travel to Serbia.

Serbian Embassy is closed on public holidays. If one of the non-religious holidays falls on a Sunday, then the next working day is a non-working day.
