Embassy's task is to represent Sweden and the Swedish Government in the Republic of Korea and to promote Swedish interests. The Embassy also handles applications for Swedish passports, registrations of newborns, visas to Sweden and other consular and official matters.

The Swedish Embassy in Seoul represents Denmark, Iceland and Norway in the Schengen-cooperation. If you live in the Republic of Korea and wish to travel to Denmark, Iceland or Norway for a visit, you should submit your application to the Swedish Embassy in Seoul. 

Citizens of South Korea do not need visa to visit Sweden for stays of up to 90 days. All fees are payable in local currency (KRW) by bank transfer.

 The Embassy is closed on Swedish and Korean holidays.
