Consular services provided by the Embassy:

To improve the services to visa applicants, the embassy cooperates with an external service provider, VFS Global. Applications should be submitted by applicants in person. VFS Global charges a fee of 75TL per application (over and above the visa fee) for their services and visa applications can be submitted in Ankara, Izmir and Antalya.

Citizens of Turkey require visas to visit Sweden. Tourist visa requirements:

• Application form for Schengen Visa, completed, signed and dated. For minors both mother and father have to sign the form.
• Family details, completed, signed and dated. For minors both mother and father have to sign the form.
• Passport or other travel document and copies of the first page, all pages with stamp and visas. The passport should be valid at least a further 3 months after the date of expiry of the visa. The passport must be issued within the last 10 years. It shall contain at least two blank pages.
• Old passport and copies if any.
• One (1) photograph 35 x 45 mm in colour not older than 6 months. The photograph must show full face and taken against a plain, evenly lit and light background.
• Proof of the existence of family relations (Tam Tekmil Vukuatlı Nüfus Kayıt Örneği).
• Flight / travel reservations or other proof of intended transport.
• Evidence of hotel bookings or travel plan.
• Proof of means of subsistence: e.g. bank account statement on the account turnover during the last three months, and the following documents shall be presented by either of the categories: 
• If the applicant is employed: letter from employer and/or approval for leave; SGK (social security) registration document and SGK "hizmet dökümü"; Salary slips of the last three months (or similar)
• If the applicant is a farmer: farmer certificate issued by a chamber of agriculture
• If applicant is employed by or owner of a private company: the company registration in the chamber of commerce and a copy of the bulletin of the trade register; statement of taxes payment
• If the applicant is retired: proof of pension (either bank account statement or pensioner booklet)
• If the applicant is a student: student certificate (Öğrenci Belgesi)
• If the applicant is a minor/under age 18 and travelling alone or with one parent or legal guardian only: Public notary approved statement from his/her parents ( this condition shall not apply if the travelling parent is a single parent or holds the parental authority alone)
• A valid, personal medical travel insurance which covers costs for: emergency treatment by a doctor, urgent ambulance transportation and transportation back to applicant's home country if required for medical reasons. The insurance must cover at least 30, 000 Euro and be valid in all Schengen states and cover the total length of the stay. Applicants for a visa more than two entries (multiple entries) shall prove that they are in possession of adequate and valid travel insurance covering the period of their first intended visit. Such applicants shall sign the statement (in the application form) declaring that they are aware of the need to be in possession of travel insurance for subsequent stays. If the applicant is not Turkish citizen and does'nt have residence permit in Turkey the insurance has to be prepared at their country or sent from Sweden.

Processing time is 15 working days.
