In case of a lost/stolen passport in a foreign country, Thai nationals must file a lost passport report to the local authorities and bring a notification along with documents proving the applicant's Thai nationality to the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate General to apply for a new passport.
Generally, a foreign citizen who wishes to enter the Kingdom of Thailand is required to obtain a visa from a Royal Thai Embassy or a Royal Thai Consulate-General. However, nationals of certain countries do not require a visa if they meet visa exemption requirements.
Nationals of Romania may apply for a Visa on Arrival which is valid for 15 days.
The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
