Consular services provided by the Embassy:

In case of a lost/stolen passport in a foreign country, Thai nationals must file a lost passport report to the local authorities and bring a notification along with documents proving the applicant’s Thai nationality to the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate General to apply for a new passport.

Citizens of Russian Federation may enter Thailand without a visa by bilateral agreement for stays of up to 30 days. Citizens of other countries that require a visa to Thailand must provide the following when applying for a tourist visa:

  • Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
  • Visa application form completely filled out
  • Recent (4 x 6 cm) photograph of the applicant
  • Evidence of travel from Thailand (air ticket paid in full)
  • Evidence of adequate finance (20,000 Baht per person and 40,000 Baht per family)
  • Letter from the hospital in Thailand, medical history, medical certificates (Category “MT”)
  • Letter of employment (if applicable)
  • Consular officers reserve the rights to request additional documents as deemed necessary

  The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
