The consular services throughout Saudi Arabia are being covered by the Embassy and the Turkish Consulate General in Jeddah. In this context, the geographical regions that fall under the responsibility of the Embassy are Riyadh Region, Al-Jawf, Hail, Al-Kassim, the Northern Region (Arar), the Eastern Province and Najran.

Services provided by the Embassy:

• Issuance of passports;
• Issuance of visas;
• Issuance of civil status certificates;
• Notarial services;
• Military service matters;
• Citizenship matters;
• Legal issues;
• Registration of Turkish citizens abroad;
• Assistance to Turkish citizens in case of emergencies.

Official passport holders are exempted from visa for their travels to Turkey with touristic purposes up to 90 days within 180 days, starting from the first entry date. Ordinary passport holders are required to have visa to enter Turkey. Ordinary passport holders can obtain their three month period multiple entry sticker type visa at the Turkish border gates upon their arrival.

Requirements for the regular visa application:

• Duly completed visa application form.
• Two recent passport sized photographs.
• Photocopy of applicant's passport (all relevant pages including valid visas to other countries).
• The passport should be valid for 6 months from the date of travel to Turkey.
• Flight ticket and hotel reservation information.
• A letter from applicant's sponsor approved by the chamber of commerce.
• Exit and re-entry visa on the passport.
• Visa fee
• Guarantees regarding means of subsistence

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
