Turkey and Korea are today’s rising powers in the Far East and the far west of Asia. These two active middle powers, taking advantage of being members of G-20, recently MIKTA, and numerous other international and regional fora, spare no effort in bringing an added value in the search of solutions to global challenges of today as well as to peace, stability and prosperity.
The Embassy is also accredited to North Korea.
Services provided by the Consular Section of the Embassy:
- Issuance of passports;
- Issuance of visas;
- Issuance of civil status certificates;
- Notarial services;
- Military service matters;
- Citizenship matters;
- Legal issues;
- Registration of Turkish citizens abroad;
- Assistance to Turkish citizens in case of emergencies.
In case Turkish passport is lost or stolen while traveling abroad, it should be immediately reported to the local police. Turkish diplomatic mission can issue a new passport.
Ordinary and official passport holders of South Korea are exempted from visa for their travels to Turkey for up to 90 days.
The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
