Relations between Switzerland and the Republic of Turkey are close and diverse, and are characterized by regular high-level political dialogue as well as extensive economic and trade ties. 

Services provided by the Embassy:

• Issuance of passports;
• Citizenship matters;
• Legal issues;
• Issuance of visas;
• Military service matters;
• Issuance of civil status certificates;
• Notarial services;
• Registration of Turkish citizens abroad;
• Assistance to Turkish citizens in case of emergencies.

In case Turkish passport is lost or stolen while traveling abroad, it should be immediately reported to the local police. Turkish diplomatic mission can issue a new passport.

Ordinary and official passport holders of Switzerland are exempted from visa for their travels to Turkey for up to 90 days.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
