Consular services provided by the Embassy:

• Authentication of documents and commercial invoices;
• Issuance of visas;
• Issuance of travel documents for children of UAE nationals;
• Verification of school credentials and PRC certificates;
• Transmission of court documents;
• Legalization of documents;
• Assistance to UAE nationals in case of emergencies;
• Other notarial services.

Starting from 6 may 2015, Romanian citizens holders of Diplomatic - Special and Normal Passports (temporary passports are not accepted), can enter United Arab Emirates territory without visa and without paying any additional charges. Romanian citizens have the right to stay for 90 days (every 180 days), with a condition that the validity of the passport should be of minimum 6 month from date of entry.

Citizens of other countries, who are required to hold visas when entering UAE, must meet the following requirements:

• Provide visa application;
• Provide passport copies;
• Provide a letter specifying the sponsor;
• Specify the type of visa required (tourist, business, etc.);
• Specify permission classification (short term, long term, multiple entry, complementary);
• Passport must be valid for at least 6 months;
• Provide a clear passport photo.
