The following is a list of required documents for nonimmigrant visa:

  • Valid passport
  • DS-160 – printed confirmation page only
  • One photo (if the applicant was unable to upload his/her photo in his/her DS-160 electronic application form
  • Any documents the applicant feels may support his/her application with him/her to the interview.

For security reasons these items cannot be brought into the Embassy or Consulates:

  • No purses
  • No laptops
  • No cell/mobile phones (including iPhone & Blackberries)
  • No handheld tablets or E-readers
  • No MP3 or similar music players
  • No USB sticks/flash memory devices
  • No cameras or camcorders
  • No portable game devices
  • No luggage, bags or backpacks
  • No bottled liquids (including perfume & drinks)
  • No flammable liquids or lighters

The Embassy is closed on American and Turkish holidays.
