When replacing a lost, stolen or damaged passport, the following needs to be submitted:

• A completed application form, signed by the guarantor
• Two identical passport photos, one of which is signed by the guarantor
• An accepted proof of Canadian citizenship
• A document to prove applicant’s identity
• The appropriate fees (passport fee and replacement fee)
• A complete declaration concerning a lost, stolen, inaccessible, damaged or found Canadian travel document

If Canadian passport is lost or stolen, it must be reported to the nearest Government of Canada office abroad.

Croatian citizens don’t need a visa or eTA, if they drive or arrive to Canada by train, bus or boat, but they do need to bring the right travel documents.

If Croatian citizens fly to or transit through a Canadian airport, they need to apply online for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). They can apply with a valid passport, a credit or debit card and an email address.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
