Services provided by the Consular Section of the Embassy:

Nigerian citizens need visas to visit China.

Tourist visa requirements:

• Original passport with at least six months of remaining validity and blank visa pages, and a photocopy of the passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate.
• One completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken color passport photo (bare-head, full face) against a light background attached.
• Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship).
• Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record (round trip) and proof of a hotel reservation, etc. or an invitation letter issued by a relevant entity in China. 

Following the notification from the Public Security Police Force of the government of the Macao SAR of China, effective since July 1, 2010, except for certain categories of people, nationals of Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam shall be required to obtain an entry visa before arriving at the Macao Special Administrative Region. Visa-upon-arrival will be no longer applicable to these nationals.

The Abuja Chinese Visa Application Centre will open on September 20, 2017. From the day on, all ordinary passport holders wishing to visit the People’s Republic of China are requested to apply for visas at Abuja China Visa Application Centre:
