Services provided by the Consular Section of the Embassy:
- Assistance to Chinese citizens abroad in cases of emergency.
- Issuance of visas;
- Power of attorney;
- Issuance of passports;
- Notarial services.
Qatari citizens need visas to visit China. Visa requirements:
- Visa application form filled out with accuracy, seriousness and care.
- Original passport valid for at least another 6 months.
- One photo, visa application form, passport copy.
- Original letter from applicant’s work place with his/her name, passport number, position, salary, company stamp, date and signature.
- Unemployed spouses and children of the applicant should provide documents proving family relations.
- Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record (round trip) and proof of a hotel reservation, etc. or an invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China.
The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the State of Qatar kindly requires all payments to be made by VISA MASTER Card.
The Consular Section of the Embassy is closed on Public Holidays.
