The Embassy offers a wide range of consular services to the public, as well as consular support and assistance to citizens of Cyprus who find themselves in the area of its consular jurisdiction in Israel.

Please note that the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus:

  • Only authenticates signatures on documents.
  • It does not review or approve the content of documents.
  • Documents must be prepared in advance and they cannot be based upon Israel legislation as this is not valid at the Republic of Cyprus.

Holders of passports of the Republic of Cyprus do not require a visa to visit Israel for tourism purposes for stays of less than three months.   Persons who wish to stay longer must contact the Ministry of Interior while in Israel to request an extension of their permission to remain.

Israeli citizens travelling to Cyprus (and/or the EU) do not need a visa for stays that do not exceed 90 days in a six month period.

The Israeli passport must be valid for 3 months at least on the date of departure. 

Holders of any type of Israeli travel document (LAISSEZ PASSER) need a visa to enter Cyprus. 

The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Tel Aviv is closed on Saturday and Sunday and Public Holidays.
