While the visa service has been outsourced, the Embassy continues to render the passport and consular services.

Consular services provided:

• Passports;
• Certificates/affidavits/attestations;
• OCI services;
• PIO card;
• Registration for NRIs/OCIs/PIOs.

In case of lost Indian passport, Indian citizens must report it to the local police and obtain a police report.

Israeli citizens need Tourist visa to visit India. Supporting documents required are documents showing travel details including copy of ticket. Tourist Visa cannot be extended at all.

All foreigners who intend to stay in India for more than 180 days continuously should register themselves with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) in India.

The Embassy is closed on Public Holidays.
