The Embassy of Ireland works to promote Irish interests in UAE, including working with the Irish community, to promote Irish culture and economic interests. We work to foster the relationship between the Irish and UAE Governments and we also provide a range of key consular services for Irish citizens in UAE.

If your passport is lost or stolen, contact the Embassy as soon as possible. You must also go to the nearest Police Station and make a report. Keep a copy of your statement to the police as you will have to submit it with your application for a new passport.

• Proof of fee payment

• Photographs
• Finance plan
• Proof you will return home
• Visa refusals (if any)
• Additional documentation for young people & children (aged under 18)

Provided documents must be original, translated into English & certified.

Citizens of the UAE who meet Visa Waiver Programme requirements may be able to travel on to Ireland from the UK without the need to obtain a separate Irish visa.

Payment is made by debit/credit card as part of the online application process.

The Embassy is closed on Public holidays.
