Consular services provided by the Embassy:

  • Issuance and extension of travel documents;
  • Registration of children who were born abroad to Israeli citizens;
  • Israel Defense Forces (IDF) related issues;
  • Notarization;
  • Verification of public documents;
  • Israeli citizenship matters;
  • Visas.

In the event of the loss/theft/destruction of a travel document, Israeli nationals must visit the Israeli mission in order to obtain a replacement.

Citizens of Italy do not need visas to visit Israel.

Security instructions for people who require consular services:

  • Please bring a photo ID.
  • Every visitor and his/her belongings will be subject to a security check.
  • For security purposes, no personal objects will be allowed into the mission, including handbags, mobile phones and electronic devices.
  • Do not bring large handbags or suitcases to the mission.
  • Do not bring food and/or beverage containers.
  • All mission security directives apply to people in the consular waiting room. The instructions of the security staff must be obeyed at all times. times. 

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
