As a high representative of the Government of Malaysia and guided by the Core Values of Loyalty, Integrity, Dedication, Professionalism and Innovation, the Embassy of Malaysia in the Republic of Croatia is entrusted to promote to the highest level of political, economic and social relations with the Republic of Croatia; and is thus committed to, inter alia:

  • Promote and facilitate trade investment exchanges between Malaysia and the Republic of Croatia;
  • Disseminate adequate and accurate information on Malaysia and the Malaysian’s government policies;
  • Enhance and protect the interests of Malaysia and Malaysian nationals in the Republic of Croatia;
  • Promote and to provide efficient protocol, immigration and consular facilities towards an increased exchange of visits and businesses between Malaysia and the Republic of Croatia;
  • Act as a focal point in the interaction and communication between the government and the Malaysian community in the Republic of Croatia

The Embassy provides these consular services:

  • Registration of Malaysians abroad;
  • Birth/marriage certificate registration;
  • Registration of death;
  • Travel advice;
  • Passport renewal;
  • Issuance of visas;
  • Notary services.

Loss of passport abroad should be reported to the nearest Malaysian Representative Office for replacement of passport together with a police report.

For the record, the production of a new passport due to loss usually takes a longer time as it is in the Immigration Department of Malaysia’s discretion when it will finish investigating the loss. 

Citizens of Croatia do not need a visa to visit Malaysia for stays of up to 3 months.

The Embassy is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays. When a public holiday falls on Sunday, the following Monday will be observed as holiday and if the Monday is itself a public holiday, the following day will be a holiday.
