Consular services provided by the Embassy:

• Issuance/renewal of passports;
• Issuance of residence permits;
• Issuance/renewal of certificates of identity;
• Dealing with citizenship matters;
• Assistance to Singaporeans in distress;
• Registration of Singaporeans abroad;
• Notarial services.

A lost passport must be reported immediately to the Passports Unit (Citizen Services Centre), Immigration and Checkpoints Authority or to the nearest Singapore overseas mission abroad.

Documents required for passports lost overseas:

• Local police report (A police report is only required if you are a victim of crime. Otherwise, you may execute a Statutory Declaration when you come to ICA to report the loss).
• Documentary proof of Singapore citizenship (e.g. Identity Card).
• Passport-sized photographs.

Under the Passports Act (Cap 220), the loss of a Singapore passport has to be reported within 14 days of the loss. Notwithstanding, it is strongly advised to report it immediately.

Citizens of the UAE do not need visas to visit Singapore for stays of up to 30 days.

The Embassy is closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Public Holidays.
