The Embassy is responsible for the representation and legalization of identity papers, attestation of documents for prospective visitors, employees and investors in Emirates.
The embassy offers assistance within the limits of the powers of Embassy services. It also offers consular services to its nationals such as emergency passport in case of loss passport.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has envisioned the implementation of a leading practice approach known as "Exporting the Border", followed by various countries to validate the information of visa applicants ahead of visa issuance and their arrival to the UAE.
This is due to the UAE Government seeking to reduce various economic, security and health risks to the general public from the incoming workforce population through enhancing the visa issuance process.
As such, the Abuja centre for visa services has been established and inaugurated on the 14th of November 2017. The visa service centre operates from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and is located in the following address: Tsukunda Plaza, Second floor, Constitution Avenue, Central Business District, besides Church Gate, Abuja

Application requirements
Ahead of any appointments, please ensure that you have fulfilled all the requirements needed to complete the visa application, as these have been updated.
Your sponsor will be notified when your application is ready for the interview stage in the visa service centre, where it will be necessary to present the following documents in order to complete successfully:
- A valid passport for 6 months or longer from the intended date of travel
- An invitation letter from the sponsor
- A medical test certificate from any of the approved medical centres (please see below for further details)
- Visa fees
Not providing any of these requirements upon visiting the centre might cause delays in your application or possible refusal.
