Crossing Borders, Houston North Area:
Crossing Borders provides a range of quality English language programs year-round and in summer at our learning center in The Woodlands (just 20 minutes north of Downtown Houston). We teach kids and high school teens of all English levels, and classes can be customized to meet your child's specific needs and learning goals. We offer group classes, private English lessons, as well as ESL classes for adults. Study English at our school or your home, or other agreed location.

Private English Lessons:
For foreign language speakers, our Private ESL courses are the key that unlocks the doors to participation in community life here in the United States.

Not only do ESL courses provide children the ability to read signs and posters in English; they also enable them to converse with their peers and make friends more easily.


English Tutoring for High School Students:
We provide customized tutoring for public, private, independent study and home-schooled children. Your child can learn in the comfort of your own home, in a comfortable environment without peer pressure.


After-school English Programs:
Crossing Borders offers after-school English classes for kids & teens ages 4 to 18. Available during the school year, these classes are ideal for non-native English speakers who struggle in school or who simply want to perfect the subtleties of the English language.

Our qualified and experienced English teachers focus on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

The best way to ensure that your child can quickly catch up to their grade level is to enroll them in our English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. Learning English enables them to fully participate in school and learn along with their peers and classmates.


Weekend English Immersion Classes:
We also offer group English classes on Saturday from 9 a.m - 12 p.m. (3 hours) at a very reasonable price.


Summer English Camp for Kids (7-13 years)
• Students are divided by age (7-10, and 11-13 years old) and/or level
• A Certificate is awarded to each student upon completion 

Give your child the opportunity to learn English in a fun and effective way through our summer ESL program! 

Available to local and international students, our English camps provide full immersion so students will speak and hear only English under the supervision of an experienced teacher.

All language skills are taught through interactive, fun-filled activities.

Through our multi-cultural program, your child or teenager will not only take part in English language classes, but also be part of art lessons and traditional games and songs all in the target English language.

Classes are tailored to your child's age, English language level, and learning needs.


Intensive English Summer Programs for Teens (12-16 years)
• A Certificate is awarded to each student upon completion

Our summer ESL classes give your child the assurance needed to confidently speak the English language, and be able to learn and socialize comfortably in English.

Students are able to learn their new language the natural way, picking up words and phrases as they participate in fun activities!

In past years, we have welcomed international high school students from Argentina, Brazil, China, Colombia, Germany, Holland, Italy, Mexico Romania, Russia, Spain, Venezuela, and Vietnam.
