TOEFL / English classes in Irvine CA area - Newport Beach

Southern States University, San Diego & Orange County:
With three campuses in Southern California (in San Diego & Newport Beach), Southern States University provides a world-class Intensive English program for non-native English speaking students from around the world. We also provide TOEFL Exam preparation. Our English courses improve students' comprehension, reading, writing and speaking skills, and ultimately prepare international students for university-level studies (SSU also provides BBA and MBA Degree programs for local and international students).

English Courses for International Students: 
Southern States University provides eight levels of instruction from Beginning to Advanced. Our mission is to provide international students with English language instruction of the highest quality.

Intensive English Course:
- 18 hours weekly (Monday through Thursday)
- Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Grammar are taught at each level.
- Elective classes included: Idioms, Business English, Current Events, Vocabulary, or Conversation.
- Available at our San Diego Campuses (La Jolla,  Fashion Valley), also Newport Beach campus.

TOEFL Exam Preparation Program:
A TOEFL score is internationally known in the English-speaking world and is a must for enrollment in colleges and universities. Course features include:

- 18 Hours per week
- 3 hours TOEFL and 1.5 hour topic class per day
- Monday through Thursday
- Available mornings
- Available at the Newport Beach, La Jolla, and Fashion Valley campuses

Certificates:
Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of your program. Good attendance is an important part of certificate eligibility in all programs.

English + Business Degree Program:
SSU also provides undergraduate (BBA) and graduate (MBA) business degree courses.

For non-native English speakers who wish to complete one of our degree programs, SSU can customize a program that includes degree program classes plus intensive English study, to adequately prepare you to succeed with their higher education studies.
