Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) is a leading university that specialises in arts, performance, design, and media education. We provide Film Production BA (Hons) semester / academic year study abroad programs to international students and professionals studying for careers in filmmaking fields. Study Abroad Film Production Programs:
Course duration: 1 term, 2 terms, or 3 terms

AUB offers a three-year Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) in Film Production and international students will be fully integrated with existing degree students for one or more semester terms. The course is well resourced with professional filmmaking equipment for each part of the process from pre-production to delivery of completed films.

Course content:
This Study Abroad Film Production course provides practical experience of the many aspects of filmmaking, both in drama productions and documentaries. Based around production projects and exercises, students gain a contextual understanding of the process of film production and the relationship between all its constituent roles and departments including designing, editing, sound, cinematography, production and direction.

Working on a range of short films and in specialist workshops, you will gain hands-on experience in the wide-ranging specialism and craft skills inherent to film production. This course will be an intensive introduction to the fundamentals of film production and theoretical concepts, and will provide a thorough grounding in technical skills, disciplines and knowledge.
