PGCEi: Post Graduate Certificate in Education (International)
- Normally studied online over 12 months. Awarded by the University of Nottingham

Designed to enable both experienced teachers and new trainees to extend their skills as effective educators, this course focuses on the improvement of specific teaching and learning skills through critical reflection and research on practice.

Modules include:
• Approaches to Teaching 
• Understanding Learning
• Contexts
• Investigating Student Understanding

Each module will be assessed by coursework and a 3,000 word assignment.

Certification:
Successful completion of all four modules will lead to the award of an Postgraduate Certificate in Education.

Continued professional development is available to allow applicants to complete an MA in Education. 

Entry Requirements:
As well as being committed to developing your learning and teaching skills in the field of education, applicants must currently be teaching and have access to a classroom.

You must also hold a second class honours degree (or equivalent), be a graduate of an approved university or other institution of higher education, and have an IELTS average final score of 6.5.
