IT Director – CTO

• Co-shape the company's vision, strategy, and business model as an equal member of the founding team
• Define and implement Calvergy's overall technical strategy
• Build a scalable, maintainable, and future-proof platform architecture
• Technical decision-making responsibility toward investors, partners, and customers
• End-to-end ownership of the software architecture (backend, frontend, Dev Ops, data/ML)
• Architect and scale backend systems
• Integrate simulation, AI/optimization models, and product logic
• Ensure code quality, performance, security, and technical excellence
• Collaborate with users to translate real-world problems into marketable products
• Build, lead, and inspire the tech team
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers and data talent
• Define development processes, engineering culture, tooling, and quality standards
• Serve as the interface between engineering, product, sales, and external partners
• Hands-on contribution to critical components in the backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure
• Establish Dev Ops structures (CI/CD, cloud, monitoring)
• Rapid prototyping, validation, and iteration of new features together with customers

• Several years of experience as a CTO, Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or Senior Full Stack Developer — or comparable entrepreneurial experience
• Strong expertise in system and software architecture, ideally with Python and a modern cloud stack
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React and Type Script
• Solid understanding of scalable platforms, APIs, data architectures, and distributed systems
• Initial experience building and leading teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership mentality, and high intrinsic motivation
• Willingness to take on technical, strategic, and people responsibility
• Bonus: experience with AI/ML, optimization, simulation, or energy systems

Demonstrates expertise in system and software architecture with a strong focus on Python, cloud technologies, and scalable platforms. Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams while driving technical strategy and innovation.
