COBOL Software Developer; m​/f​/d

We are looking for an experienced COBOL Software Developer (m/f/d) to strengthen our team with your expertise and passion for reliable software solutions. In this role, you will support the full lifecycle of our COBOL applications — from analysis and planning to development, optimization and maintenance. • maintain and further develop the existing mainframe system, including its components and services
• support business departments in creating effective and efficient technical solutions for their requirements

• a completed degree in computer science, training as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification
• several years of experience in COBOL development, ideally in mainframe environments such as IBM z/OS
• solid knowledge of database technologies such as DB2, VSAM or SQL
• experience with batch and online processing programs as well as tools such as JCL and TSO
• strong analytical thinking, a structured way of working and enjoyment in solving complex tasks
• very good German skills in speaking and writing at C1 level and good English skills at B2 level
