As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the U.S. Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Thanks to globally unique manufacturing technologies, we create high-performance products made of metal and fiber composites, such as large load-bearing structures and cryotanks, lightweight structures and fuel as well as pressure tanks that combine maximum performance with minimum weight.

• Overall responsibility for the production area, including further development and securing growth
• Ensuring efficient, on-time production processes with a focus on productivity, quality, cost-effectiveness and sustainable value creation
• Planning and implementing capacity expansions to support company growth
• Ensuring the operational readiness and optimal utilisation of machines, systems and operating resources
• Responsibility for the implementation of quality-related processes, audit support and the derivation and tracking of corrective and improvement measures
• Ensuring compliance with internal quality standards as well as legal and customer‑specific requirements
• Transparent cost management, efficient use of resources and monitoring of production key figures, including the initiation of corrective measures
• Interface function to engineering, controlling and project management
• Close cooperation with supply chain management
• Continuous optimisation and scaling of processes and planning using lean methods and CIP principles
• Cross‑departmental coordination with all areas involved in the process
• Participation in investment projects with a focus on increasing efficiency, improving quality, expanding capacity and reducing costs in a sustainable manner

• Successfully completed technical degree or comparable training with relevant professional experience
• Several years of experience in a management position in a production environment, ideally in the aerospace industry
• Experience with complex manufacturing processes, long lead times and handling large components
• Experience in the strategic development of production areas and the development of new business
• Practical experience in lean management, continuous improvement (CIP) or comparable methods for process optimisation
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Goal‑oriented, entrepreneurial approach and a strong sense of responsibility
• Cooperative, motivating leadership style with experience in employee development
