A leading Tier 1 Contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join its project team in Berlin, delivering a large-scale Hyperscale Data Centre
.

The successful candidate will support the commercial management of major electrical packages, working closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commercial teams to ensure strong cost control, accurate reporting and effective contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical QS with experience in Data Centres, M&E contracting or other technically complex project environments to join a major European development.

• Manage commercial activities across major electrical work packages.
• Prepare and review cost plans, budgets, forecasts and cost-to-complete reports.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, tender analysis and commercial evaluations.
• Prepare and assess subcontractor valuations, variations and payment applications.
• Track project costs against budget and identify commercial risks or opportunities.
• Manage change control, variations and contractual notices.
• Support preparation of monthly CVRs and commercial reports.
• Liaise with Engineering and Procurement teams on equipment costs, lead times and package scope.
• Monitor major electrical packages including MV/LV systems, switch gear, transformers, UPS, generators, busbar and containment.
• Support contract administration and ensure commercial obligations are maintained.
• Assist with claims, final accounts and dispute resolution where required.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation.
• Work closely with Construction and Project Management teams to ensure commercial decisions align with programme and delivery requirements.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor, M&E Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Engineer
  .
• Strong background within Data Centres, M&E, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Industrial or other technically complex projects
  .
• Good knowledge of electrical systems and major electrical packages.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts, variations and payment applications.
• Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Experience with contract administration and change management.
• Strong numerical, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Construction Economics is preferred.
• Previous Hyperscale Data Centre experience is highly desirable.
• Full working rights to operate in Germany / Europe are preferred.
