At Tylko, the Head of Industrial Design is accountable for the overall design direction of the product portfolio. This role owns design quality end‑to‑end and has the authority to make clear trade‑off decisions, saying “no” when needed to protect clarity, coherence, and long‑term value.

You are responsible for defining and maintaining a consistent design system across products, including form language, CMF, spatial use, and digital representation
. Your task is to ensure that every product is intentional, understandable, and aligned with a single, coherent design identity.

By setting clear principles and enforcing them in day‑to‑day decisions, you reduce unnecessary complexity and raise the standard of our portfolio from well‑executed products to a clearly differentiated and purposeful offering.

You will report directly to the CPTO (Chief Product & Technology Officer) and lead the Design Division, encompassing Industrial Designers, Interior Design Leaders, Product Designers, and Configurability Experts.

This role sits at the intersection of physical craftsmanship and digital scalability
. You aren’t just designing furniture; you are designing parametric systems that must work flawlessly across thousands of unique configurations.

• Own the End-to-End Design Direction: You will own the design direction of the existing storage portfolio and new product categories. You will translate company strategy into clear design principles and apply them consistently across form, materials, spatial use, and digital representation.
• Evolve the Core Storage System: A key part of your role is the continued development of our storage system, which remains the core of Tylko. You will refine its form language, proportions, materials, and system logic, improving quality, clarity, and coherence across a complex, configurable portfolio.
• Expand into New Verticals & Accessories: You will define how new verticals and accessories extend from this foundation into a broader, well‑structured home portfolio. You will ensure that new categories feel intentional, system‑aware, and scalable, not additive or decorative.
• Set Standards Across Physical and Digital: You will operate at the intersection of physical craft and digital systems, setting standards for materials, joinery, ergonomics, sustainability, and digital representation, including configurators and 3D environments.
