As Senior FP&A Manager, you'll own the data foundation that powers management and investor decisions, bridging accounting, energy-tech data, and strategic planning while building reporting infrastructure from the ground up.

Build investor‑grade reporting in a hypergrowth environment where data is not perfect, systems are evolving, and speed matters. This isn't about maintaining existing processes — it's about creating and redesigning.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN Build Investor-Grade Reporting
  • Own monthly and quarterly reporting packages: consolidate sales, energy‑tech, and accounting data into actionable insights.
  • Define and track KPIs — unit economics, cohort analysis, revenue drivers.
  • Drive data quality across fragmented systems — you make numbers that make sense.
Shape Planning & Forecasting
  • Build and own quarterly rolling forecasts and annual budgets — your models guide hiring, investment, and growth decisions.
  • Develop scenario planning and sensitivity analyses for fundraising and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Leadership to define financial strategy and translate it into executable plans.
Bridge Technical & Financial Worlds
  • Pull, clean, and consolidate data from multiple sources (CRM, ERP, billing, energy platforms) — you own the data pipelines that power our reporting.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Rev Ops, Sales, and Tech teams to create a unified data model.
  • Navigate complex energy market data and translate it into financial metrics.
  • Act as the translator between technical teams and executives — making complexity simple.
Automate & Scale Processes
  • Build scalable processes using Excel, ETL Tools, and emerging AI tools.
  • Test and implement new reporting tools — you're hands‑on, not just strategic.
  • Drive automation projects that save time and improve forecast accuracy.
Build & Lead Your Team
  • Hire and mentor 1‑2 FP&A Analysts in the medium term.
  • Grow from individual contributor to team leader — we'll support your development actively.
Nach wem wir suchen Must-haves:
  • 4+ years experience in finance with clear career progression – ideally combining strategic finance training (Big Four, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting) with operational finance experience (FP&A, Controlling) in fast‑growing companies.
  • Financial modeling expert: 3‑statement models, budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning.
  • Accounting‑savvy:
    Solid understanding of HGB accounting principles and financial statements (IFRS exposure a plus).
  • Business metrics fluency:
    Unit economics, cohort analysis, revenue drivers, and willingness to learn energy‑specific KPIs.
  • Excel power user + genuine curiosity for automation & AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, n8n, Zapier, Power Query).
  • Hands‑on + structured:
    You'll build processes yourself before delegating.
  • Business fluent in German and English.
Nice‑to‑haves:
  • Energy, utilities, or regulated industries experience.
  • Python/SQL basics.
  • Experience implementing or evaluating FP&A/BI tools.
