Scientific Co-Founder

At OhMyV, we're creating an entirely new sexual health prevention category beyond condoms. We just secured significant R&D funding and have established partnerships with research institutions. Now I need a scientific co-founder who can bridge rigorous science with real-world impact.

What this role actually involves:
This is early-stage startup territory, which means we're tackling scientific challenges that don't have textbook solutions in an industry that's been playing it safe for decades.

I'm looking for someone who approaches complex problems methodically but isn't afraid to think outside conventional frameworks. Someone that is flexible and adaptable to the constant flux of an early stage startup, someone who thrives in unpredictability.

You'd be our scientific leader, translating cutting-edge research into products that genuinely improve people's lives (and yes, their pleasure too).

Your responsibilities:

• Serving as primary scientific liaison with our research institute and other partners
• Converting research insights into viable product development strategies
• Leading R&D decisions and technical roadmap development
• Overseeing product development from proof of concept through market readiness
• Establishing rigorous testing protocols and validation methodologies
• Navigating regulatory pathways for innovative sexual health products

What you bring:

• PhD or MSc in Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or related field
• Experience translating academic research into commercial applications
• Medical device development experience (ideal)
• Entrepreneurial adaptability and resiliency
• Understanding that sexual health science should be both evidence-based and sex-positive
• English proficiency required (German is a bonus)
