It is currently boasting 132 rooms & 690 beds, being a little gem in our portfolio. Kind of a “no brainer” to take this iconic hotel with us on our Generator journey, give it the best parts of our Generator DNA in order to transform this into a socially driven, loud and welcoming community hot spot (with some kick‑ass parties & events, of course).

• Ensure that our social spaces embody the Generator brand and culture
• Play a part in ensuring that there is a responsible person (duty manager) onsite at all times
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of and ensure compliance with all local legislation and regulations pertaining to your department
• Control payroll and all costs in your department
• Take ownership of the guest journey to ensure that we create a truly unique Generator experience
• Strive to continuously “raise the bar” by improving standards of performance, redefining the hostel experience by achieving outstanding customer satisfaction
• Build and lead a FOH team who get Generator and want to be themselves
• Communicate effectively and appropriately in all directions so that the team understands its goals and is motivated to achieve them
• Ensure that your team remains up to date with all local, national and international trends
• Be commercially savvy in exploring new revenue streams
