Manufacturing Preparation Specialist​/Mitarbeiter:in Arbeitsvorbereitung Tech Manufacturing

In our high-tech small production runs, single part and prototype production, you will support us in the high-precision manufacture of optical components, assemblies and systems made of glass, glass ceramics and ceramics.

• Work plans & bills of materials:
  Create and maintain work plans, bills of materials, and manufacturing-related master data in SAP.
• Master data management:
  Maintain and optimize material, warehouse, workplace, production master data, and inspection plans.
• Production documentation & material readiness:
  Ensure the availability of all required production documentation and materials to support manufacturing operations.
• Inventory & material management:
  Monitor inventory levels, optimize storage areas, and initiate escalations when required.
• Cost monitoring & reporting:
  Support manufacturing cost calculations and provide relevant data for decision-making and production planning.
• Continuous improvement & projects:
  Analyse processes, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to operational, manufacturing, and SAP-related projects.
• Procurement & production support:
  Support material procurement, first article tracking, inventory activities, and production-related tasks.

• You hold a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field, or have an equivalent qualification combined with relevant professional experience.
• You bring several years of experience in manufacturing preparation or manufacturing organization.
• You have solid SAP knowledge, particularly in the PP and MM modules.
• You are confident using MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• You have experience working with production master data, manufacturing processes, and material flows.
• You are fluent in German and have good English communication skills.
