We're a high-velocity team based in Berlin and remote, working at the intersection of AI, infrastructure, and fintech.

Role

As a Security Engineer, you'll lead initiatives to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our platform. You will design and enforce systems that support financial-grade compliance.

You'll collaborate closely with infrastructure, compliance, and enterprise engineering to embed security into every layer of our stack.

Responsibilities

• Implement security-first infrastructure and application designs
• Conduct threat modeling and secure code reviews
• Develop tooling for identity management, secrets handling, and secure communication
• Audit internal systems against SOC 2, PSD2, and GDPR requirements
• Lead incident response and vulnerability remediation efforts

• Deep understanding of secure infrastructure design (cloud, containerized, and on-prem environments)
• Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops  and CI/CD security tooling
• Experience implementing role-based access control and data encryption
• Track record of leading or contributing to internal security audits
• Comfortable working in regulated environments (finance, health, etc.)

• Worked in a fintech, neobank, or regulated SaaS environment
• Hold certifications like CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent
• Experience with automated compliance tooling
• Exposure to zero-trust architectures and modern IAM stacks
