About Woven by Toyota

Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota's once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation - expanding what "mobility" means and how it serves society.

Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies;
Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles;
Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation. Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we're working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.

TEAM

Woven's Dojo team helps large corporations power the future of their workforce using MS1, our next-gen proprietary talent management and intelligence platform. We believe employee career progression should be purposeful, AI-driven, and future‑ready. MS1 is now gaining traction in Japan and abroad, and is the talent management backbone of the Toyota Software Academy. We aim to create a compelling and customer‑centric HR SaaS business within Woven by Toyota, serving customers and partners, starting from within Toyota and its ecosystem companies.

Here in the Product & Engineering team, you will be working closely with your Product, Design, and Engineering colleagues to help shape our AI‑driven product roadmap, and help companies close the gaps on DX, talent insights, and career development.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As Senior Product Manager, you will join our team of highly‑skill product leaders, engineers, and product designers. Your responsibility is to evolve our foundational experiences that allow our enterprise customers to successfully onboard and manage their user accounts, integrate with their HRIS/IDP/enterprise software ecosystem via APIs/connectors, and handle licensing and billing on our platform. This is important because your goal is to ensure customers can adopt, integrate, scale, and pay for MS1 seamlessly.

Furthermore, we expect you to help establish, and review our long‑term product roadmap with our internal and external partners. You will report to the Director of Product, Dojo.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and optimize first‑time user experience to reduce time‑to‑value on MS1 (incl. importing/sourcing talent data, seeding talent profiles, and IDP/SSO configurations)
  • Lead our strategy for implementing native connectors, integration, and APIs with leading HR Systems (e.g. Workday, SAP, Success Factor, Oracle, etc) or external IPaaS partners for extensibility
  • Define and deliver in‑platform subscription management and reporting capabilities
  • Define and deliver our enterprise billing workflows, including invoicing, renewal, upsell, and auditability
  • Partner with our Customer Success and Design teams to design in‑product feedback loops and nudges
  • Monitor and suggest ways to optimize our product adoption and activation rates, including our time to onboard and time to value metrics
  • Continuously benchmark MS1 against best‑in‑class SaaS platforms and their onboarding experience with ours
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's or Masters' degree in computer science, engineering, or an related fields
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or equivalent roles
  • Knowledge in using product funnels alongside analytics and user testing to optimize user experience
  • Comfortable at working collaboratively with Business (Director‑level and up), Product, Design, and Engineering leads
  • Experience managing complex customer requirements and navigating multi‑cultural environments
  • Experience leading technical workshops in Japanese with minimal support or supervision
  • Business‑level English and Japanese language ability
NICE TO HAVES
  • Preferably you have been in Software Engineering roles prior to becoming a Product Manager
  • Experience in collaborating with Customer Success and incorporate their ideas into product roadmaps
  • Experience in HRTech or DX, especially in Japan, APAC, and/or EU
  • Experience with using GenAI in day‑to‑day activities
