K GmbH focuses on the digitalization and automation of processes in the healthcare sector, especially auditing and billing of services for statutory health insurance companies. Together with our development partners, we developed the innovative software platform daewy, enabling real-time processing, verification, and billing of electronic prescriptions. daewy optimizes billing processes in the healthcare sector.

Berlin (hybrid working possible)

• Design, setup, and operation of database systems based on Microsoft SQL Server (HA cluster) and Postgre
  
  SQL (cloud-native deployments on Red Hat Open Shift)
• Design the database architecture and harmonization of processes
• Data modelling and schema design accounting for performance, scalability, and storage optimization for very large data volumes
• Implementation and maintenance of ETL processes with SSIS and/or Apache Airflow for high-volume data flows
• Ensuring synchronization between MSSQL and Postgre
  
  SQL systems, including design of replication and transformation processes to harmonize data models between clusters
• Harmonization and standardization of existing versioning processes (currently Flyway, Alembic)
• Definition and implementation of database standards and governance guidelines with internal and external partners
• Coordination of multiple service providers and internal teams to ensure uniform data architectures
• Support in monitoring and optimizing performance, index structures, partitioning and query plans

• Completed (technical) university degree in (business) computer science, mathematics or a comparable course of study, or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience in the design, implementation, and administration of productive database systems, ideally in the SHI environment
• Proven experience in the design, migration and further development of complex relational database schemas, including indexing, partitioning and versioning
• Deep understanding of transaction processing, locking mechanisms and query optimization for very large amounts of data
• Familiar with Red Hat Open Shift and Grafana
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow is desirable
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken German
