Data & Automation Engineer; Python AI E-Commerce Circular Tech Platform fmd

Toys Reloved is building the circular future of play. We give pre-loved toys a second life by combining technology automation and craftsmanship. Our goal is to make sustainable choices easy affordable and scalable through data-driven automation and smart product workflows.

We are now looking for a Data & Automation Engineer who wants to help us build the data backbone of a circular e-commerce platform that connects toys families and impact.

• Maintain and expand n8n workflows for product grading description pricing and marketplace integration.
• Support and extend the Toy Base data model (Postgres) ensuring clean interfaces with Bubble.
• Build and maintain Python scripts for scraping data cleaning and benchmarking.
• Integrate e-commerce APIs (Shopify Amazon refurbed Kleinanzeigen etc.).
• Ensure data quality validation and benchmarking using existing frameworks.
• Work closely with graders and operations teams to reduce product creation time through smart automation.

• Strong skills in Python for data processing and API integration.
• Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tools.
• Understanding of data modeling and database management (Postgres preferred).
• Ability to structure and validate data (JSON schemas test frameworks).
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Claude Copilot Cursor).
• Hands-on mindset able to translate business needs into automation.
• Optional but valued : experience with or Shopify integrations .
• Proficiency in English or German.
