Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly technically skilled and business-oriented Senior Solution Manager (EDGE AI) with a proven track record in EDGE computing, AI, or embedded systems industries.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in server architecture, including CPU and GPU technologies, and demonstrate the ability to understand and address the unique requirements of industries such as retail, manufacturing, and energy.

In this role, you will identify and recommend optimal hardware configurations tailored to specific use cases, ensuring solutions meet performance, environmental, power efficiency, and security requirements for a diverse range of edge devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Business Development & Presales: Proactively identify, propose, and qualify new EDGE AI and embedded system projects across diverse verticals.
  • Technical Presales: Analyze customer requirements, deliver tailored hardware and solution recommendations, and contribute to RFx processes.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with sales, field application engineers (FAEs), and product teams to propose optimized hardware solutions, integrating server platforms with AI accelerators and embedded systems.
  • Commercial Acumen: Partner with sales teams to drive success in new verticals.
  • Market Events Participation: Represent the company at industry events, including trade shows and exhibitions, by engaging with prospects, supporting booth activities, and generating new leads.
  • Training & Enablement: Deliver training sessions to internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance solution adoption and understanding.
  • Product: Influence product definition and roadmap development to align with customer needs and emerging market trends.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution and delivery of solutions.
  • Strategic Relationship Management: Build and sustain relationships with clients, including C-level executives, to foster strategic partnerships and long-term success.
  • Market & Industry Insights: Track and analyze trends in EDGE AI, embedded systems, and key verticals (e.g., retail, healthcare, manufacturing, smart cities) to inform strategy and offerings.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture relationships with software vendors, ecosystem partners, and industry stakeholders to expand opportunities and strengthen the value proposition.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems.
  • Industry

    Experience:

    8+ years of experience in IT, EDGE AI, embedded systems, or adjacent domains.
  • Experience with a server or embedded manufacturer is preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of server architecture, including chassis, Motherboard, x86 systems, CPUs, and GPUs.
  • Familiarity with embedded – EDGE systems and their applications in industrial and commercial settings.
  • Customer facing technical presales experience

    Proven ability to recommend and deliver tailored hardware solutions that address specific customer challenges.
  • Business Development Acumen: Strong track record in identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and closing deals in technical solution sales.
  • Interpersonal

    Skills:

    Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and engage effectively with C-level executives.
  • Language

    Skills:

    Fluent in GERMAN; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe/Global as required.
