Laboratory Systems Administrator (m/w/d) – Pharma & Biotech | Start ASAP

, we are looking for experienced Laboratory Systems Administrators who can join us at short notice and support the implementation and rollout of GxP-regulated laboratory systems within a biotech environment.

If you have hands‑on experience with laboratory IT systems such as CDS, LIMS or comparable applications and know how to bring regulated systems into operation from a technical perspective, we would like to hear from you.

You will work alongside application SMEs, CSV specialists, Quality and IT and take responsibility for the technical setup, administration and operational readiness of laboratory systems – from implementation through Go‑Live and handover.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the technical implementation, setup and rollout of GxP-regulated laboratory systems
• Configure and administer application servers, clients and technical system environments
• Manage users, roles, access rights and security configurations
• Support instrument connectivity, interfaces and system integrations
• Manage DEV / TEST / PROD environments, deployments, patches and upgrades
• Support databases, system monitoring, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis
• Support backup, restore, archiving and disaster recovery
• Provide technical expertise to the dedicated CSV / validation workstream
• Ensure the technical setup supports GxP/GMP, EU Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11 and Data Integrity requirements
• Create and maintain technical system documentation
• Support Go‑Live, stabilization and knowledge transfer to internal IT

Your background:

• Several years of hands‑on experience in system administration, technical application management or implementation of laboratory IT systems
• Experience with in Pharma, Biotech or another GxP-regulated Life Sciences environment
• Strong understanding of client/server architectures, Windows Server and Active Directory
• Experience with databases, interfaces, integrations and technical troubleshooting
• Hands‑on experience with CDS, LIMS or comparable laboratory systems
• Experience with platforms such as Waters Empower, Lab Ware, Lab Vantage, Sample Manager, Chromeleon or comparable systems is a strong plus
• Good understanding of GxP/GMP and validated computerized systems
• Knowledge of CSV / GAMP 5, EU Annex 11, 21 CFR Part 11 and Data Integrity
• Professional English is mandatory – German is a plus

Germany / Hybrid – onsite presence depending on project needs

Start: ASAP – immediate or short‑notice availability strongly preferred

You don't need experience with one specific system. What matters is strong hands‑on experience with regulated laboratory systems and the ability to take ownership of their technical implementation and administration.
